I joined Abriel’s Group in April 2019 as a guest researcher from Fukuoka University, Japan. I have already investigated the pathological role of TRPM4 channel upregulation by cardiac stresses in Ca2+-dependent arrhythmia in the last eight years, including my PhD study. During these eight years’ work, I also joined other research projects on TRP channels in physiological and pathophysiological cardiovascular processes, performing electrophysiological and biochemical techniques.
Before research on ion channel, I was a cardiologist engaging in the diagnosis and therapy of cardiac arrhythmia for four years in the Affiliated Zhongda Hospital of Southeast University, China. With experience in basic and clinical sciences, I strongly believe our present study will contribute to enable elucidation of how altered activities of ion channels/transporters could lead to arrhythmic changes.
In my free time, I like to have fun with my friend, play football and hike.
